About Us

At Harvest Community Outreach, we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginning on May 29, 2012, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: empowerment, support education. Learn more about our mission, our vision, and how we go about making the changes we want to see.

Our Mission and Vision

Here at Harvest Community Outreach, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.
We work to build bridges of hope for the community as we offer hunger relief through maintaining a network for food acquisition and distribution to meet the basic and emergency needs of marginalized, at risk, and underserved individuals and families in Escambia County, Florida.

Our History

Harvest Community Outreach Inc. was founded in 2012 by Tara and Delarian Pogue to fulfill their passion of providing basic necessities to those in need by lending an outstretched hand. Driven by their compassion to see growth in all areas of an individual's life, they have selflessly committed their lives, time, energy and efforts to this outreach. Tara, divinely inspired, named the outreach Harvest Community Outreach. We have seen constant growth and divine favor and with God's help will continue to work to make a difference in the local community.
